A natural solution to aspirin and painkilers

Between 1994-95, Seagate provided free samples of the shark cartilage 100 capsule bottles to anyone in the San Diego area that we could find that had joint pain or arthritis. (Most people with joint pain don’t bother getting a proper diagnosis and just live with the pain and occasionally take painkillers when it really becomes intolerable.) Seagate gave away hundreds of sample bottles in order to prove or disprove the claim that was circulating throughout the health food industry industry, that shark cartilage helps with joint pain.

The results were so good, that many of these people contacted the local chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, who then put us into contact with a rheumatologist, one of their key researchers, Dr. (”X” - he doesn’t want us to use his name), at UCSD Medical School in San Diego. Dr. X’ focus has been to find a natural food whose digestion would produce a simple protein similar in structure to the peptide that is secreted by joint cells when they are irritated. He believed in 1996 that Seagate Shark Cartilage might have this property. Unfortunately we did not have the $100,000 to begin funding that research at that time.

Dr. X’s theory was that when a joint is irritated, it gives off a secretion that includes a simple protein (peptide). This peptide is almost identical in structure to the E. Coli bacteria. In some people, the body’s immune system is unable to detect that this peptide is really not an infection. The body mistakenly sends a set of T-Cells (antibodies) to the site of this perceived infection, which is the area in and around the affected joint. These antibodies not only attack those peptides secreted by the joint but also attack the cells lining the joint, further causing their irritation and further break-down, causing the release of more of this peptide. This cycle continues with the joint slowly being destroyed by the body’s own immune system — an auto-immune malfunction.

Under Dr. X’s theory, a person could take an edible form of this identical peptide as a solution to their joint pain. The food-derived peptide would circulate throughout the body and allow for two things to occur: #1 It would divert the attack of the body’s T-cells away from the affected joint, allowing it time to heal and recover; and #2 over time, this exposure every day to the food peptide might act like an allergy shot – allowing the body to acclimate itself to that peptide and eventually stop reacting to that simple protein given off by the joint and ending the auto-immune attack by the body against that joint.

In the 15+ years that Seagate has been producing shark cartilage, most people taking it for joint pain, seem to feel a response within 2-3 weeks and are able to reduce and sometimes eliminate using shark cartilage within 4-6 months. Similar results have been reported by people also using shark liver oil. Shark Cartilage and Shark Liver Oil are classified as supplements and therefore Seagate is not allowed to make any medical claims.

The object of this page is for you to take a look at the various topical products that you apply to your skin and your children’s skin. Seagate operations during this economy downturn
Economic times are now rough for everyone. Unfortunately the U.S. economy has been built during the last 20 years on inflated asset values and the subsequent mortgaging of these inflated values to allow consumers to over-extend themselves. The bubble burst and we now face a period of deflation. So how are we prepared and what does Seagate do to cope with this changing economy? Seagate has the advantage of producing all of its own raw materials from our fishing and farming operations and processing them in our own factory. During the past 27 years, we have struggled with periods of inflation, recession, reorganization of our product lines, and even changing from one industry to another. As a fishing company, we retain the fishing philosophy – during the good years you save and pay off your debts so that you can survive the bad years. All of our earnings during the good years went to pay off debt and the remainder was invested into machinery and equipment to produce new products and to make existing production at lower and lower cost. In order to lower our costs and become a more efficient producer, Seagate needs to maintain a steady volume. Therefore it has been no accident that you have seen us provide buy 1 get 1 specials, 10% discounts on large orders, free shipping … etc. Not only does this provide for good customer relations, the added volume helps our company to be more a more efficient manufacturer. During the past year, we have reversed a growing trend in the health food industry by shipping some of our products into China, where they are able to compete with Chinese-made health food products.
New Products under Development
I have found that the best way for Seagate during hard times is to continue to develop new innovative products and to improve our efficiency at producing existing products. Seagate has 2 new products under development. Stop Athlete’s Foot will be a natural homeopathic medicine designed to compete with the over-the-counter chemical-based remedies. Also under development is an Olive Leaf homeopathic Vaginal Spray for yeast infections. This is water-based, easily absorbable, and needs no panty liners because it eliminates the mess of the suppositories currently sold over-the-counter. The only missing component to finish this product is the development of an acceptable pump spray cap.

Nothing beats fish as a natural fertilizer

	Fish is the best fertilizer for plants and vegetables. The Pilgrims first learned from Native Americans how to apply fish to fertilize their first crops. It is impossible to over-fertilize with fish. Dried Fish Fertilizer Concentrate contains a natural N-P-K (Nitrogen-Phosphorus-Potash) level of 11-5-1. Unlike the liquid fish emulsion that is preserved with high levels of acid, dried fish powder has no danger of burning the plants roots.
Seagate uses fish fertilizer exclusively on their organic farms. This use of the fish waste was initially designed in order to operate as a “green” company, in order not need to dump any fish washwater into the sewer system and annoy the neighbors downstream from the factory, or discharge fish cuttings into the town dump that could still have some value on the farm. However, the use of the fish waste immediately showed its benefits in the crop size and yield. Crops of tomatoes, garlic and carrots that were fertilized with fish became gigantic. Not only was there the potential for Seagate in savings by eliminating commercial purchases of organic fertilizer, but crop yields doubled.
By 1999 customers began expressing interest not only in the freeze-dried carrots and garlic, but also in purchasing some of the fish fertilizer that was being used on the farm to grow these vegetables. It did not take very long before the supply of fish wastes from Seagate’s fish processing was insufficient to cover both the demand for Seagate’s farming and the demand for dried fish fertilizer to sell to the public. Seagate then began actively fishing sardines and anchovies to supply the production of Fish Fertilizer Concentrate.
Application methods: The simplest method to apply fish fertilizer powder to existing plants and flowers is to make a notch next to the root ball with a trowel, pour a tablespoon of fertilizer into the hole, and cover with dirt. For new plantings, pour a little fish powder into the hole before placing the new plant or seeds. The natural bacteria in the soil will slowly digest the fish providing the raw nutrients that will be absorbed into the soil and then by the plants’ root systems. For indoor plants, be sure to cover all the fish powder with soil to prevent the smell of decomposition from entering the room. For larger commercial operations such as Seagate’s, the fish can be plowed directly into the soil before planting. Alternatively for existing crops, Seagate has developed a drip irrigation method- First place some fish powder in an old sock (one without holes) and knot it. Place the sock in a bucket or barrel or water for several weeks (sealed), allowing the water to turn black from the bacterial decomposition. This water can then be added into your drip irrigation system. The accompanying photo shows Sunflowers that grew a height of over 11 feet that were fertilized exclusively with the dried fish powder when the seed were originally planted in the Spring.

Control hunger without diet-pills

Most diet pills offering easy weight-loss, do so by affecting your metabolism which in turn can affect your mood and sense of stability. Nopal Cactus leaves are simply Nature’s storage tank for water that allows this plant to survive under drought and desert conditions. The high content of mucilaginous fibers in nopal holds the water inside the cactus leaves in a jelly-like gooey mass. This water-storage capacity has developed through natural selection over the millennia which allows the plant to retain its moisture in case of leaf breakage by a bird, rock or wind, so that all the water does not come pouring out. Diet, exercise and the right supplements

The FDA allows Seagate to put on the Olive Oil capsule label – that diets rich in monounsaturated fat, Oleic Acid, can reduce the incidence of heart disease. The amount of olive oil that is recommended daily to accomplish this goal is approx. 23 grams (23 of the 1000mg softgels). Those 23 softgels of olive oil represent 230 extra calories of fat which can cause you to gain weight. Therefore, a person would need to reduce the consumption of other fats in order not to gain weight.

The shark liver oil is completely cleansed of all contaminants in the Seagate factory.
