The object of this page is for you to take a look at the various topical products that you apply to your skin and your children’s skin. If you cannot pronounce the ingredients that are on the labels or do not feel comfortable putting that oil or cream on your tongue, perhaps you might not want to have those chemicals applied to your skin. While many manufacturers might make you believe that those ingredients are safe because they are not taken internally, this is completely false. One of the easiest ways to have a chemical absorbed into your body is by applying it directly to the skin where it bypasses the acids and enzymes in your stomach and digestive tract that might have a chance of breaking down that chemical, and instead allowing the skin to absorb that chemical in its original and possibly toxic form. Skin care, whether it is for anti-wrinkle, burns, rashes, or skin infections can be done entirely with natural edible plant-based and marine-based oils. In the 21st century, is it really necessary to be rubbing abrasive goopy chemicals like zinc oxide with petroleum derivatives to cure a diaper rash? |

Seagate always recommends that for severe and ongoing infections and pain, you should always see your health care professional. |

Seagate combines their own extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, omega-3 shark liver oil and natural Vitamin E as an edible base in an all-natural moisturizer, and also to make several different homeopathic formulations for skin care, burns, rashes, eczema and fungal conditions. The question to ask yourself – isn’t it time you stopped rubbing goopy, abrasive zinc oxide complete with other petrochemicals onto a diaper rash when there is an all-natural homeopathic edible spray that can sooth the skin in seconds and provide over 300 applications per bottle?

I’m ordering from your website for the 1st time. We’ve been watching Know the Cause for a couple of months now, and my husband and I will be starting the phase 1 diet very soon. He has nail fungus. What is the best remedy for that issue?
Seagate responds - You are already doing the right thing going with Doug’s diet. In addition, I would use the OliveViate antifungal oil and try and rub it in and around the nail as well as you can. Most important, I would begin taking the Olive Leaf Extract capsules 2 to 3 capsules 3X per day usually works, and you should start seeing new pink skin growing out from the cuticle within a week.

I regularly use the OLive Leaf Nasal spray for my chronic sinus problems due to a deviated septum, and have prevented and cured many sinus infections without the use of antibiotics.
My daughter was having severe problems with acne and had been going to the dermatologist regularly without a good response to the medications prescribed (not to mention all the side effects she endured). Knowing that the nasal spray contained anti-bacterial properties, I suggested that she try applying it to her skin. It has been amazing how well it has worked without side effects or drying her skin. It would be perfect if the same solution would be packaged in a regular spray bottle or a container with a spout on the top so that it could be applied by spraying directly on the skin or by using a cotton ball.
I also use the nasal spray for many other topical uses such as rashes and wounds for the anti-bacterial and healing properties without the oils.
Could this same product be packaged in additional ways to facilitate it’s usage for purposes other than as a nasal spray?
SEAGATE responds - Hi Karen - Those are great ideas you have … but we have actually already produced the homeopathic topicals using olive oil as the base. Olive Oil has similar anitmicrobial properties as the olive leaf extract. We know because Seagate produces our own extra virgin olive oil which we use in our topicals and in capsules. Three of these products: Bye Bye Diaper Rash, Stop Rash, and Bye Bye Burns come in a spray applicator similar to the Olive Leaf Throat Spray. However, we do not recommend using these sprays on your daughter’s face because the spray pattern could get into her eyes and sting. The best product for her acne is the Smooth Skin “Day” Version. Even though it is an oil, it absorbs well, it moisturizes, and is antimicrobial. Intuitively you might resist applying an oil onto acne. However, this oil does work and readily absorbs.

To Kathy,
I have nail fungus on one of my toes and out of curiosity started treating it with the olive leaf nasal spray about three months ago with excellent results. I apply it after I shower when the nail is softer. I am hoping for a complete cure and it is looking very good at this point. I think if I was more consistent in treatment I would be more advanced with my results, I forget to apply it alot.

Several months ago we changed satellite servers and I happened upon Doug Kaufman and “Know the Cause”.
It was one of the best things that ever happened to me.
I recently came down with a cold, which can turn into bronchitis with me, so I ordered the Seagate Olive Leaf Nasal Spray and the throat spray and began using it as soon as it arrived, and I never did get real sick.
My husband then caught the cold from me, so I had him take the products and he did not get real sick either.
I have also suffered with Fibromylagia for about 20 years and could not find any thing that helped much and I will not take drugs, so I began taking the olive leaf capsules and went on the phase 1 diet. I almost immediately noticed that the pain and stiffness of the fibromylagia got much better.
Thanks to you all for a wonderful program and products.

Any advice for Psoriasis….? It’s been progressively getting worse and the Topical Steroids barely keep it under control…plus I worry about what they’re doing after being absorbed by the body …thanks
Seagate replies - While this may not make sense to you, in the 16 years we have been producing and selling the Shark Cartilage we have had many many people using it — taking it orally- for psoriasis. In the meantime, you may get temporary but immediate relief by applying the OliveViate topically directly on the skin to help releave the symptoms.

Can get Doug online now that we don’t have skyangel. Have learned so much! I wonder if olive leaf would help cellulitis. My friend w/MS has it, as well.
Do you have something that would knock a keratosis type blemish under eye? Hate to get involved w a dermatologist if I could work with it myself w/natural things.
Seagate replies - I don’t know if the olive will help the cellulitis. Let us know the results if you or your friend try it for this application. However. we have had a lot of experience with the Smooth Skin for a variety of skin blemishes.

Is it possible that taking one OLE capsule would cause my extreme vertigo the next morning? I tried only one, and that was what happened. I hate the thought that I may not be able to use it since I know I need an anti-fungal badly! Thanks!
Ruth in Wis.
Seagate replies - Hi Ruth - We have never heard of this side-effect. The only reactions to the olive leaf extract that we have had reported in the hundreds of thousands (probably closer to a million) sold in the 12 years we have produced this product is: a) a mild allergic reaction with people allergic to olive leaves, which is very rare; and b) the “herxheimer reaction” which is a flu-like reaction caused by the fungal die-off and the subsequent release of mycotoxins from the dead fungi cells. Of course, anything is possible. However, it would be much more likely that you had taken something else in addition to the olive leaf extract to cause this. There is only one other way to rule this out as a possible reaction to the olive leaf extract .. by taking a small amount once again without taking any other food or alcohol. However, if you are absolutely certain that the olive leaf was the cause, then we advise that you do not take any more capsules.

What is the difference between day and night formulations of Smooth Skin? Do I need both for complete skin care?
Seagate replies - Hello Marilee- The “Night” formulation has twice the amount of shark liver oil as the “Day”. It is more viscous and works more therapeutically. Women seem to prefer to put this one on during the night time before going to bed, eliminating the use of any nighttime creams. The”Day” is lighter and absorbs faster and goes on easier especially if you are still using makeup over your skin afterwards. Of course it is our expectation that this product will help to soften and smoothen the skin to the point where most women no longer will feel the need to use any makeup at all. You can send a message to our office using the contact form on our home page and request a sample of the “Night” version or by calling us at 1-888-505-4383 and requesting the sample before making a purchase. Thank you. Seagate Customer Service

after watching doug I ordered the fungal kit. I had been suffering from seasonal rhinitis for months & drs had given me many anti allergy sprays. I used the olive leaf spray once & my nose cleared it had been swollen & itchy but no mucous. The next day I blew my nose & out came a yellow ball. My nose has been clear since but I continue to use olive leaf spray. Is it like antibiotics where you need to take a whole course. I am surprised by the speed of healing I thought it would take months. can the fungus get stronger & less sensitive if I discontinue use for awhile
Seagate Replies - Hi Sue- It is very definitely NOT like antibiotics. You cannot overdose on it, it does not kill off all the good bacteria, it does not harm your liver, and the ingredients are all natural, made from plants that will do you no harm. As far a how long you should be taking it in your specific case … I would take it until the symptoms are gone.
